Synthronon (altgriech. σύνθρονον, Plur. σύνθρονα Synthrona, manchmal auch σύνθρονος Synthronos) bezeichnet seit dem 5. Jahrhundert n. Chr. die halbrunde Priesterbank, welche in die Apsis einer Kirche eingebaut wurde.
