Polyvinylacetat (Kurzzeichen PVAC, manchmal auch nur PVA) ist ein thermoplastischer Kunststoff. Die Synthese des Polymers aus der Gruppe der Polyvinylester erfolgt mittels radikalischer Polymerisation. Neben dem reinen Homopolymer haben auch viele Co- und Terpolymere des Vinylacetats große technische Bedeutung.
