Candicidin ist ein aus vier Komponenten bestehendes Antibiotikum. Die Hauptkomponente (Candicidin D) ist eine chemische Verbindung aus der Gruppe der Makrolide und Heptaene. Candicidin wurde zuerst 1953 von Lechevalier beschrieben und nach seiner Wirkung gegen Candida-Pilze benannt.
