What is Dbpedia?

DBpedia is a crowd-sourced community effort to extract structured content from the information created in various Wikimedia projects. This structured information resembles an open knowledge graph which is available for everyone on the Web. The German DBpedia chapter is part of DBpedia's internationalization efforts and makes structured information of the German Wikipedia available as Linked Data. The goal is to provide a dataset for German language applications and research.

German Chapter

The German DBpedia chapter is being maintained at the research group Information Service Engineering, supervised by Prof. Harald Sack at FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure. If you have questions or if you would like to collaborate, please contact Fabian Hoppe and Tabea Tietz.
